HMT Olympic served during WW1 as a Troop Transport Ship. She had a successful record with her numerous transports and ferrying thousands of men. During her time in the war Olympic became under attack by U-103. Luckily her torpedo missed Olympic and the massive liner had seen the sub and was turned to head directly at the sub. U-103 was unable to fire back as her side was now facing the bow of Olympic as she steamed towards the sub. The sub attempted an emergency dive, as she sank, narrowlly missing the keel of Olympic, one of her huge propellers sliced through the hull of U-103 and so Olympic was the only Troop Transport to sink a U-Boat. After the war Olympic returned to active service before being retired and scrapped in 1935.
I believe Olympic suffered the worst fate out of the three sisters, what do you think?
